Sunday School - Information

Every Sunday, 10:00 am

What is Sunday School?

Sunday School is a weekly one-hour lesson from 10:00 to 11:00 am, for children of school age. The lesson is christian, and focuses on understanding the Bible. Sunday School is enjoyable, and good fun for the children, while also packed with learning and activity. Churches run Sunday Schools as a way of communicating the Christian faith, and a knoweldge of the Bible to children and young people.

All are welcome

You do not have to be Christians to come to Sunday School. We welcome everybody. Parents are welcome to remain in the lesson with their children. Alternatively, parents are welcome to attend the sevice which runs at the same time as the Sunday School. The teaching ends at around 10:50 am, followed by refreshments until 11:00 am.

What do we learn?

We learn all the main Bible Stories, We learn about worshiping God, as we learn a variety of psalms, hymns and songs. We learn about the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Bible. We learn about living a christian life. During a typical Sunday School lesson, we sing, we hear a Bible story, we do some memorising, and we do an activity such as a quizz, simple craft, colouring or a worksheet. You can see an overview of our curriculum here
