What we do
We are a christian-based Mothers and Toddlers group, providing fun play, and engaging activities for the toddlers, and good company, friendship and support for the mums (and dads and grandmas). Some of the activities are of a christian nature, such as the singing and action songs. We welcome everyone - you do not have to be a Christian to join the Mothers and Toddlers group. We began in September 1998. Since then we have grown and progressed, due mainly to recommendations from mums who already attend the group - that is a good advert itself! We meet term-time only, from 10:00 am to 11:15 am on Monday mornings.
Fees
The fees we collect each week are for children aged nine months and above and go towards new equipment, materials, special events etc - in other words, your fee goes towards your child's enjoyment of the group. We are seeking to provide a service for you, not for us, so please support us all you can. Current fees are £1 for toddlers over 9 months old, and 50p for younger brothers and sisters. This includes a drink and a biscuit for mums and children.
For You and Your Toddlers
From time to time, we seek to involve the toddlers with our Family Services, especially at Christmas time and Easter. Occasionally, too, we issue invitations to attend our outreach meetings and special events. You are under no obligation to attend, but we would be very encouraged by your support.
