Sunday 18th December 2016
This is our regular and popular Christmas Family Service - full of singing, a quiz, readings, a story, followed by chatting over refreshments. We are expecting lots of children, and we don't mind noise, wriggles, and loud participation. Everyone is welcome. Seasonal refreshments afterwards. All welcome. Read more
Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’”
Luke 24:1-7
This is our regular and popular Christmas Family Service - full of singing, a quiz, readings, a story, followed by chatting over refreshments. Everyone is welcome, and families who come to Mothers and Toddlers, or to Sunday School enjoy this opportunity to bring their families along to celebrate Christmas in a very relaxed and informal service. Seasonal refreshments afterwards. All welcome. Read more.

10:00 am to 10:30 am
This is a brief and informal time of thoughtful singing, prayer, reflection, and simple family-style teaching about the Lord Jesus, and His crucifixion. Families and children will be there, and anyone is welcome to join us. Around the year 30 AD, in the Roman province of Judaea, Jesus suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried.
If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that...
